First Halloween!

Here is our precious little lamb!
He was NOT into smiling for pictures,
but he was still very into his pumpkin.

I love this one!
Patrick insisted, as I was taking this, that his hand was nowhere near the flame (and that it was just the angle), but it sure looks like trouble to me . . . !
We went trick-or-treating at Tio Eric and Alyssa's House,
but we were still in a very bad mood.
Trey did not want to take pictures, even once we decided maybe he was too hot and shed most of the costume. Maybe one day we can take the Dagny and Hank with their first sheepie pic, but that day was not tonight.
We were very, very NOT into this.
But look at that cute little booty!

Sooooooo,
We decided to opt for a slightly cooler (aka "cooler") costume,
and then we were all smiles right away:

Dallas girls,
Can you guess?
Maybe this shot?
Yeah, that is our "Charlie Sheen" outfit (courtesy of Mrs. R - the first Mrs. R in my life)!

Okay, so you can probably add another chapter to the "what not to do as a parent" book for this one, BUT I'm really not sure what is more concerning: (1) that we dressed our baby as Charlie Sheen OR (2) that he clearly preferred it . . .
You can probably go ahead add a chapter for this one too (and maybe the flame - aka "it's just the angle" - thing):

Picking out Pumpkins

We got one big pumpkin & one Trey-sized pumpkin:
It was very serious business:

The New Sleep

Trey has mastered rolling over (both ways) and discovered his tummy is highly preferred for sleep ("I don't know what I was thinking!" - Trey). No more swaddle.

Zoo

Today, Trey took his third trip to the Zoo.
And, YES, he can see some of the animals. We've seen lions, bears, elephants, giraffes, monkeys (they are big time), anteaters, turtles (also BIG time), anteaters, and otters. And, lots of plants . . . gotta love the plants.
Although, he is a little more interested in his feet than most of them.
These two . . .
. . . were particularly interesting today though; this picture cracks me up:

Trey (aka Daddy) just fed the giraffe:

Camera

Trey is a hard to catch smiling. When he sees the camera, he usually freezes . . .

Tub Time

Bath time is starting to be a little more fun!
(a little meaning not traumatic and maybe kinda sometimes approaching fun - http://katieandpatrick.blogspot.com/2011/06/day-5-first-bath.html)

Yes, Hank, we ALL do love rubber duckies:
