We also went downtown and watched the preparations for the big night time bike race through the streets of Athens (see video below). Here is Hank tangled around a pole, rendered motionless, and, for some reason, chewing on a metal rope. It must have tasted yummy I guess.

By the end of Auntie Allison's visit, we had two very tired little puppies (see the video of Hank comatosed below too)!

The Easter Egg Hunt

Today was very fun! After playing around inside all morning (see Older Posts - Easter Morning), it warmed up a little, so we went outside on this beautiful spring day and had a Puppy Easter Egg Hunt!

We filled the eggs with treats and ground beef.

Hank caught onto the game very quickly.But sometimes it was still tough.

Looking . . . Ah-ha!It took Dagny a little while to catch onto the game, but when she did, she caught up fast.

She found the egg hidden in their favorite lounge spot, under Patrick's car, . . . . . . and in their digging hole.

After the hunt, Hank and Dagny had to lick the eggs completely clean since apparently Patrick did not get all the goodies out. This took a while to accomplish.

Dagny's Surgery

Dagny had her surgery this Tuesday. Hank was very upset at her being gone, crying all the way home and then moping around the house all day. He was very, very happy when she came home, but was not happy that he still couldn’t play with her. We are suppose to keep her quiet and still, but we are starting to relax that rule because it is kinda hard to keep two border collies “still.”
